Great staff and really helpful. The building and room are beautiful, which compliment the environment.

Trees need cutting as they scrape on the window. It’s a bit scary in the middle of the night. On a serious note, squeaky on the glass isn’t pleasant.

It is a period building with real feel and a history.

Some of the carpets and finishes are a little over tired.

Very disappointing that the restaurant was closed and was not informed at the time of booking. Email notification just before stay advised of closure in previous month. On arrival there were marketing banners detailing new restaurant now open. It wasn’t. Hotel is nice but needs some love and upgrading to cosmetic appearance.

Everything been here a couple of times now. Perfect getaway!
