Nice country pub with a country feel

The room we stayed was overpriced . The walls are paper thin, we can hear the neighbouring rooms & footsteps on the stairwell . The room has ear plugs next to the bed which is a sign of a problem !? We had a terrible night .. very disappointing stay !!

The food, the bed and the hospitality!

Very nice place.

However, there was a iron table and a heater in the room, which was not needed. Besides the room is not big. I ask to be removed and they did. The toilet was not cleaned properly

Really lovely comfortable room. Best air con/heating system ive encountered in a hotel ...it cooled room down quickly and quietly and equally heated it up the same. Room was decorated well and service was great. The only reason i have given less stars for comfort was the beds - I'm sure a lot of people would love them but i found them too hard.

Beautifully appointed room, lovely ensuite bathroom and good selection of teas/coffees/biscuits. Friendly staff. Perfect for a one or two night stay. The vegetarian breakfast in the Fox's restaurant was excellent.

The room and bed were both smaller than expected: The booking said 'large' double bed but it seemed to be a regular double, and the metre sq measurement given of the room must have included the bathroom, as there was v little space around the bed. The restaurant's dinner menu lacked vegetarian options, which was a shame.

Expected some traffic noise as the main road is adjacent (earplugs are provided), but it was the flashing green light on the ceiling which kept me awake all night! Breakfast is good, not exceptional.

Decorated beautifully, comfortable bed, brilliant bath, shower and products.

Fabulous rooms and beautifully decorated. All of the team were very friendly and the service was excellent.
