The Fig Tree Shanklin

Breakfast is cooked to order which is so rare these days to get a really decent breakfast cooked to order. Rooms were Immaculate, welcoming staff.

The only thing missing was air conditioning as we did stay on one of the hottest days of the year so far - but at least we could open the windows and fans were provided.

If there were a way we could have used next doors pool or purchase a pass to go in there it would have been amazing

Breakfast choice,quality and service was excellent. The Hotel had enough parking space even when fully booked. The staff were very helpful and efficient. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The room had a view of the sea from the balcony which was unexpected. We would come back here again if we came to the Isle of Wight and would recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to stay in the Isle of Wight.

Our only small complaint would be the pressure lacking of the shower and a screen needed to stop the water going everywhere.

Property was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing.

Only comment I can make is the loud doors banging.

Breakfast service was basic but fantastic. Staff were attentive and proactive. Location was perfect for what we had planned in and around Shanklin.

There wasn't anything we didn't really like about our stay.

Lovely location. Easy walking distance to the beach.

Great welcome from Lucas, gave us plenty of information. Accessible and all staff willing to help and friendly. Easy walk to local restaurants and amenities.

Dogs on outside furniture. Cooler in the room was poor.
