The Fig Tree Shanklin

Check-in was completed online and we just arrived and we were welcomed then given the keys to our room. The breakfast was included and had a varied menu that was all presented very well. Service was good and all delivered by friendly staff. The bar and terrace were very comfortable and had a good selection of drinks available. There was also a reasonable size car park at the back of the hotel with some accessable parking spaces at the front.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The hotel has a perfect setting being close to Shanklin Chine, the old town and to the seafront. The interior was beautiful and our room spacious and modern. Lucas welcomes us with a smile and was super lovely so were the breakfast staff. The bar area was superb for pre dinner drinks and the choices for breakfast were excellent. The Fig Hotel is a real gem in Shanklin.

Very clean and comfortable

Being very picky there was a noise like someone tapping on your door intermittently but no one was there. not sure what was causing it

The breakfast was ok and the location was perfect

The sausages were poor and poached eggs under cooked but I'd still recommend friends to stay there as the staff were lovely and so was our room

Absolutely Fabulous Hotel , by far one of the best on the Isle of Wight (and we have stayed at many lol) The staff especially Lucas , go above and beyond for you and special shout out to Steve the chef for an amazing Breakfast . Can’t wait to return

Lovely location , very modern and beautifully decorated hotel .Everywhere clean and very welcoming staff with lots of local knowledge. Excellent breakfast, presented very well. Lot's of choices, Gluten free too. Fresh flowers on the tables in the dining room too, lovely touch!
