Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The property did not have a proper reception area—just a table in the middle of the room—which felt unprofessional and untidy. We were simply handed the keys and told where our room was. The room itself looked very worn and not properly maintained. It did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly, as there was still a water bottle left behind from a previous guest. The carpets also looked unclean. The mattress was extremely old and uncomfortable, offering no support at all, and the bathroom was very small. Overall, the room felt tired, unclean, and uncomfortable. Due to the poor condition of the accommodation, we apologised to the staff but decided we could not stay and left. Unfortunately based on this, I would not recommend this property.

GBGBGBGreat staff who were very friendly. I had to be relocated to the sister hotel due to capacity which was totally the wrong end of Morecambe for me. However the transfer was smooth and although I didn't get a sea view which I booked the manager of The Clifton gave me a lift to the sister hotel which was great customer service. Breakfast was very good.
Only the fact I'd originally booked a sea view room at The Clifton and got a car park view at the sister hotel. Alternative room was fine however and I was offered a part-refund.
