GBThe lady on reception was wonderful. We checked in earlier than stated. The view was great. Didn't go down for breakfast but friends of ours said it was good
Tea and coffee facilities were 1 tea bag, 6 sugar, and 2 little pots of milk...no coffee Drawing pins holding the curtain to the wall to stop light coming through Black mould marks in the shower Water marks down the walls in the bathroom Spots on the ceiling in the bath room Carpets stained and lots of creases and bumps Half a toilet roll between 2 people for 2 days Cobwebs Big hole in the wall behind the main door Shower was hit and miss, one minute piping hot, the next cold then back to hot The corridor we were in had a strange smell Carpets as you walk in, and the stairs heavily stained The place is extremely dated and in need of some attention to detail. Even though it was very cheap to stay, that should not reflect in levels of cleanliness. I doubt it would have made any difference if we went and asked for another room, as my friends room was more or less the same :-(
