We had such a lovely stay at the Duke recently! The room was gorgeous and comfortable, and a great size, it was super clean and the staff were fantastic. Its right in the heart of Whitstable - the location really is a dream! We got engaged during the trip, and the staff were so sweet, bringing us some complementary prosecco to celebrate over breakfast! The breakfast is also really superb - great food in a lovely space with fast service. This would already be a wonderful place to stay, and it was made that extra bit more special by the staff. We had dinner booked nearby but after seeing the restaurant at the Duke when we were checking in, and the breakfast the next day, we would definitely have like to have tried their dinner menu as well.

Very good hotel exceeded expectations, the whole experience was very good including the restaurant excellent value for money

Breakfast was excellent. Room very nicely decorated with goodies such as free beer and a coffee machine. Friendly staff. Superb location right in the middle of town. Would thoroughly recommend.
