Amila Dive Beach Resort

It was very cozy and easy to get around within the resort.

The location itself does not have a good view of the beach. It is snuggled between a locals area which can’t be helped.

Excellent, the service is superb.

Very good kitchen, private comfortable space tucked away on the beach with local fishermen for neighbors and easy access to the ocean. Truly worth every peso.

Nothing to complain about.

The resort itself is very nice. Staff are friendly and very helpful especially the owner of the resort. Guests were like a big family during the dinner time chatting across tables and chatting with Tobias. There is a good size food shop near by to buy fruit and snacks.

The only problem I faced was mosquitoes as they kept coming from under the door and loud neighbours.

Staying in this resort was AmilA-Mazing. All of the staff were very accommodating and kind. They were very approachable and helpful. The food was very delicious. The menu had a variety of food. AS IN GUYS ITS SO GOOD!!! 100% recommend if you want to hangout and have a good time with your friends and family.

The resort is excellent, peaceful, exceptionally clean, and well-maintained. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. However, the food could be improved. Incorporating local ingredients, such as fresh seafood, would be a great addition. Also, television will be good too

The rooms are nice, modern and clean, the staff and the owner is kind, friendly and helpful. Restaurant area is also nice, modern and well designed. There is a small private sandy area by the pool and the restaurant, which is clean and well-maintained. Food is good, although I recommend to order extra side-dish to almost all dishes, because the portions are not too big (not even for my girlfriend) but it is sonething very common in Philippines as we travelled around.

I want to emphasize that the following remarks I am about to mention are not the resorts’s fault, but its worth knowing if you like to explore the nearby area. If you go a few steps further from the pool, you reach the beachfront by the sea, which is public and there are lots of trash with broken glasses, and unfortunately a lot of sick stray dogs running around, and there is dog poop along the beach, which is not something we were looking for to spend 12 nights with, because we really wanted to swim in the sea and walk on the beach. If you want to walk along the beach I recommend wearing water shoes, and if you are sensitive to see people living in very bad conditions (e.g half-collapsed wooden bungalows, small children with bare foot running and playing among broken glasses etc.) I recommend to take day trips to the nearest islands instead (Danjugan Island, Turtle Island, Sugar Beach), which are clean and really nice to take a walk at. Originally we are from Hungary so we have seen poverty and people living in very bad conditions, but this was really touching and we felt sad for the people and for the sick dogs.

Very good meal selection, especially the breakfast. Excellent and helpful staff, and had a good chat with the owner who was available our whole stay.
