Amila Dive Beach Resort

Excellent, no complaints, food, scenery, hospitality, like other reviewers, recommend this business. Gourmet food, pristine pool. Quiet, relaxing, uncrowded, no tv take a book, or walk on the beach at night under the phillipine stars.

This is our most recent of many past stays at Amila. We always stay at Amila when we travel to Sipalay to visit my wifes family. Tobias , his wife (owners) and their entire staff are are nothing short of terrific. The location is so good, restaurant food delicious, sunsets amazing.

Best place for divers if you are one because the diving spots are near. For those looking for entertainment there isnt any but me and my girlfriend enjoyed the peace and quiet. We also availed the Danjugan Island tour which was also nice.

The facility is nice and clean. Foods are really good and good amount per serving and the staff were so nice

We didn't like the beach. Hope they put more effort into cleaning it everyday coz you can't really swim in their. go island hoping instead and pool location must've been closer to the villas than in their resto

My second time at Amila Dive Beach Resort. The Resort is well maintained. We stayed again at the Superior Room and it was like the first time. Great Mattress and Pillows. The Staff is still the same friendly and always happy to help or answer questions. This time we did a Tour to Danjugan Island, i would everyone recommend to stay there for a half or full day to explore the nature. The food and cocktails at Amila are great experience and we are very happy. Try the Bulata Bomb (Gin) :-). Good WiFi a nice infinity pool and watching the sunset every day. Thats what we looked for. This is not the last time at the resort.

Beautiful resort for peacefull relaxing at the beach. Not crowded with tourist. Excellent condition of resort & rooms. Clean & safe Pool. The food & coffee is awsome! You can even get few german inspired dishes & drinks, if you want have a bit european vibe. Definitely gonna revisit this place few times!

The friendly and hospitable staff made us feel very welcome from our arrival to our departure. Tobias, the owner, came to greet us not long after we arrived and he was always around to answer our questions or to simply check in on us. The comfortable bed and heavenly pillows gave us a good night's rest each time. Also, we liked how we were able to refill our water bottles at the bar as part of the resort's policy to eliminate single-use plastic. It's just a short boat ride to Danjugan Island, where you have the option to explore the island, go snorkeling, scuba dive, or paddle along its beaches. The beach on the resort itself is very small and not the best place for swimming, but it has a small pool that some might enjoy.

A little soundproofing in the rooms could make for a better experience. We are not super-early risers, and we could hear doors slamming as well as bathroom doors sliding open and closed as early as 7am. This is just an observation: We understand the rationale behind the quarter-full containers, but filling the shampoo/soap bottles and coffee/sugar jars halfway might provide better optics. How about using smaller vessels instead?

Absolutely in love with this place ! Food was delicious. Service was good as well and danjugan is just in front of the resort! The staffs were very helpful and the owners are very nice ❤️ A very satisfying place will definitely go back again here ! ❤️
