Very friendly staff, spacious room, large desk very suitable to professionally work, ice cold refrigerator.

There were some A/C issues which are under attention though, so should be fixed. The immediate location area is a bit ‘rough,’ while within a few minutes walk you can reach local icons, such as Gallery Cafe, Baguette Bakery, etc. So it’s simply a matter of perspective and travel experience.

I arrived very late at night from Galle to Colombo and checked-in to my hotel. I was exhausted, nobody helped me with my luggage. The reception was not helpful at all. She took me to show me the room, I asked if I should bring my luggage by myself or if someone will bring it for me, she acted like she was surprised by my question, and she told me I have to bring my own luggage. I didn't like her tone or the way she treated me. I went into the room and was looking for the WIFI password, thinking its somewhere printed or on a piece of paper, I couldn't find it and couldn't connect to the internet, so I called reception several times and nobody picked up. I had to go downstairs to the reception again and ask for the WIFI passport. This was not nice at all. On the positive side, the room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable though but I stayed only for a couple of hours and had to leave to the airport.
