We had the most incredible stay at Lemon Grass Villa! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was absolutely unmatched. A special thank you to Andrew, the General Manager, whose warm and attentive demeanor made us feel right at home. Ravi and the rest of the staff were outstanding, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food, which was hands down the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka! Compliments to the chef for curating such exceptional dishes that left us speechless every single meal. The villa itself was beyond stunning—spacious, luxurious, and offering breathtaking views that made our 2-night stay unforgettable. Waking up to those views was an experience in itself. From the impeccable service to the incredible ambiance, everything about our time at Lemon Grass Villa was simply perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and can’t wait to return. My husband and I spent four amazing nights at Celestial Hills in Kandy for our honeymoon, and I can honestly say it was the most magical place we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a hidden paradise. We stayed in one of their beautiful villas, and the staff made sure we felt like royalty the entire time. Every night, they decorated our room in a different, special way, knowing we were there for our honeymoon. On Diwali, they truly went above and beyond—lighting candles, creating a stunning Ganesha on our bed with flowers, and leaving a mixture of Indian and Sri Lankan sweets for us. This thoughtful touch meant so much, especially as it was our first Diwali away from home. The villa itself was stunning—spacious with incredible views of the valley and sunrise. Every morning, we woke up to a breathtaking view, watching the sky change from purple to orange. It was like something out of a nature documentary, only better because we were there to experience it firsthand. Our private pool and large balcony made it even more special—we had breakfast there most mornings, taking in the serene atmosphere. Leaving each day for sightseeing felt like we were leaving heaven, but returning in the evening always felt like coming back to it. The service at Celestial Hills is by far the best I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve traveled quite a bit. From the moment we arrived, Andrew, the resident manager, welcomed us with pineapple achar and tea. Throughout our stay, he stayed in contact via WhatsApp, making sure we had everything we needed. No matter what we asked for, it was brought to us within minutes. Andrew truly went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Everyone we met was so warm and welcoming, it didn’t even feel like we were at a hotel—it felt like we were staying with family. The chefs, in particular, were incredible.

It felt like everyone there genuinely loved what they were doing, and it made the experience all the more memorable. The location itself was ideal. We loved that it felt secluded, giving us the perfect sense of escape, but we were still close enough to easily explore the local town and attractions. It was the best of both worlds—tranquility when we wanted to relax, and excitement when we wanted to venture out. We spent our days finding hidden trails nearby, and every evening we’d come back to this incredible villa that felt like our own private haven. Celestial Hills was everything we hoped for and more, and we’re already dreaming of our next visit.

I loved the cozy and spacious villa with stunning mountain views. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the rooms were spotlessly clean and well-furnished. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. The location was beautiful and secluded, offering a quiet escape surrounded by nature, yet close enough to explore nearby attractions easily. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!

We stayed for 1 night in this property in Kandy, around 40mins from the city center. Our room was garden view with pool. Room Nice and spacious quality was good. Pool and sun beds were nice; they are not covered so not usable during rainy weather. Food Breakfast was choice of European or Sri Lankan set, which was good. Spa Service was fine, staff was kind. Service Staff was kind, attentive and very open to feedback which we appreciated. Overall our stay was positive and we felt like the staff genuinely tried to go above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, despite the few issues.

Property is in the middle of the forest, so insects unfortunately come with this. In room shower which was not great. Room service was a bit slow but good. Spa staff doesn't speak English very well.
