Emerald Bay Resort Mirissa

Our room was amazing - huge and comfortable with lovely amenities. The hotel was in a quiet bit of town a ten minute walk from the main beach. We had an early excursion and they gave us a wonderful packed breakfast to take with us. The staff were fantastic

There was some building work going on but this did not affect our stay.

Their service was top notch all the staff were very good at their job and very helpful the location is also really good and their food was also fresh and good the rooms were big and very clean

Really good location, close enough to the beach whilst being far enough away to be peaceful. The staff were amazingly helpful and organised the pickup of clothes that I left in the room upon checkout.

During our 3 weeks trip in Sri Lanka, this hotel was the only bad and completely disappointing hotel and bad experience! When we checked in, we directly had to pay (normally you pay when you check out) and afterwards we understood why. The was a massive gap between fotos and what is written about the hotel and reality. After walking in our room for 30 minutes, our feet were black, the pool was dirty and full of dead animals like flies and dragonfly, things were broken around the pool But the worst thing was a door next to my bed with an open balcony, only one railing to hold without glass, which was absolutely dangerous! ..so if my 4 years old son would have walked out he could have easily fallen down 50m and died!!! There was no sign at the door and after complaining about all at the reception they did not give us any money back.They offered us to talk to the hotel manager but they never got back to us and our money was gone - without making even the slightest concession to us, although we called the hotel also many times the day after. Its strategy - they take the money in the beginning and know they cant hold at all what they promise. I would definitely avoid this place!! booking: you should absolutely cancel your cooperation with this hotel!!

Przemiły i bardzo pomocny personel, szczególnie pani z recepcji. Bardzo ładne widoki z pokojów. Dobre śniadanie. Dobre udogodnienia oraz lokalizacja hotelu w odległości spaceru od dwóch plaż, sklepów, restauracji oraz portu.

Good location near the whale watching.

Room overlooked the pool so we had to keep curtains closed on one side of our room. Patio doors very difficult to open and close so essentially unusable.

Die Unterkunft hatte geräumige und saubere Zimmer. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Es wurde renoviert und war sehr laut. Die Arbeiter begannen bereits früh und machten ordentlich Lärm. Hierfür gab es keinen Preisnachlass oder sonstiges Entgegenkommen. Der Preis für die Zimmer war hier definitiv zu hoch und stand in keinem Verhältnis.
