L&D Lodge

The hotel was just perfect. Very clean. The staff was very warm, friendly and helpful.

All the staff were super welcoming. As a female traveling alone I felt very safe here. The room had everything I needed with a little fridge and the balcony. It is very central to both beaches and all the shops. They offer a local breakfast which I highly recommend trying!

I stayed at L&D for three weeks and was happy the whole time I was there. The staff is happily RESPONSIVE to any requests. Anytime I walked downstairs, someone was there to see if I needed anything. Very nice and filling breakfast every day. Comfortable common area for relaxing and nice balconies. I was happy to have a kettle and small fridge so I could prepare my own simple snacks as needed. The wifi worked great. A nice swimming beach with calm water is in easy walking distance as well as several good restaurants.

This did not bother me, but some people might be sensitive to the occasional train noise. Note that the lodge is located next to railroad tracks. I suggest that you request a room in the back side of the hotel in advance if this is a problem for you. They will try to meet all such requests...but you should request in advance.

Everything is great except of the location of the accommodation. It's next to the railway, which is extremely loud.

This accomodation was really nice, great location, really kind staff, clean room, clean shower. It was nice the staff cleaned room in the morning.
