Relais del Mare

It was a very nice room with stunning views of the harbour. Easy to walk to sorrento town as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and newly renovated. Close to a public and private beach and lovely seafood restaurants. Great vibe at night. Very private . We stayed for 4 nights.

It is about a 15/20 minute walk with your luggage to the room, a few stairs , we did it easily, but would warn other guests. I attached photo of stairs you bring your luggage down.

Valentina was great and very welcoming. The property was very clean and comfortable. The balcony was a little bit small but the view was beautiful. Breakfast was great. Location was great.

Loved the location excepting very noisy at night. Fortunately the music on the waterfront stopped at midnight. The music at the villa above the hotel was loud and late

The location is perfect, Valentina (our host) was so kind and caring and made us feel right at home! She made our trip so much better, and was so responsive whenever we had questions or asked for recommendations. There's also a beautiful shared terrace with one of the best views you could ask for! You're in a prime beach location and also a 10 min walk from the main piazza!

We felt just a bit 'nickel and dimed'. The stay is already a touch pricey, and the listing says it includes breakfast. But, when you arrive you're told that only certain items are included (like 1 cup of coffee per person) and anything else will be charged to your room. To be clear, our host was completely transparent about this after we arrived but it was a bit surprising nonetheless because the listing doesn't contain any qualifiers and we didn't experience this at any other property on our 1 month stay in Italy - everywhere else, 'breakfast included' meant you could choose from the menu without issue. So, on the day we checked out, we somehow had a 70 euro overage for breakfast - things like an extra coffee or juice, an extra muffin, etc. It just felt a bit odd considering how much we paid to stay in the rooms (my family occupied the entire property for the week). We also actually all missed breakfast the first day and I missed it the second day - so it felt particularly strange to then charge us for "extra" items when we didn't even eat every day. In any case, I feel this should be included in the listing so it's transparent upfront. One other thing to note is that our host was also the person preparing all the breakfast items, so it took quite a bit of time. For us, this was fine - you're on a gorgeous terrace and it's nice to take your time and enjoy the morning! But, if you're on a particular schedule, just know that breakfast is a one person show and will not happen quickly.

The property is perfectly located in Marina Grande just a short 10 minute walk to Sorrento township. It’s quaint with just 2 rooms. The fresh made breakfast on the terrace each morning was lovely. Beautiful view of the sunset. Valentina was wonderful and made our stay enjoyable. We will return!

It’s a walk to the property on cobblestone streets and stairs. I knew this in advance and we only brought small luggage.

Breakfast was dissapointing with messy scambled eggs and bacon was forgotten. No coffee refills offered and no staff on site before 7:30-8 am.
