Really beautiful rooms and great location

Brilliant location and amazingly clean and characterfully renovated property .

Restricted parking , but it didn’t look like anyone cared paying for parking in the blue zone .

Amazing place with beautiful design. A great location in Scalea, bed was really comfortable and all of the room facilities were much better than any place we've ever been in Italy (in this price range)

Casa Marinari feels like a newly renovated place to stay. It is located in an older bldg but the interior is very nice and seems new. Nice shared terrace, spacious room and bathroom, air conditioning and comfortable bed. It is steps away from entering the old historic part of the city and we dined at the nearby seafood restaurant twice which was maybe a short 200 foot walk. Easy check in and host was responsive to messages. We walked to the property location from the railroad station which took about 22 minutes with luggage. Not hard mind you but it was quite a stroll. When we left to go catch our train, we opted for a scheduled taxi which cost 15 Euro and well worth it.

There was a slight misunderstanding as to having an in-room coffee service as when we booked on booking.com, our room amenities stated coffee service was included and this was reflected on our booking confirmation. When we asked about coffee service upon arrival our host said this was not included but after showing our booking confirmation, he went and got a coffee maker with ample coffee pods for us. So if you are considering booking Casa Marinari, you may want to confirm with the owner first about the coffee if it is listed as an included amenity in you cost.

The property has been thoughtfully restored and well designed. The delux room wasn’t spacious but adequate for our 2 night stay. The whole place is spotlessly clean. The owners are easily contactable and quick to respond. The location is perfect for exploring the historic old town.

We liked everything.

The property was finished to a very high specification throughout, stylish and modern but welcoming and comfortable. The location was in walking distance to the beach and surrounding restaurants and public parking was available opposite. We had a lovely little terrace which overlooked the front of the property too! Host communication was good and check in was really simple and easy. Would recommend to anyone visiting Scalea!
