Negombo 146 Homestay

This villa was large and very comfortable, just a few minutes walk from the beach. The host is so kind and friendly and accommodating, and did everything she could to make our stay nice and successful. We are so grateful.

Nothing! It seems like the kitchen is perhaps often used by the caretaker to do and dry laundry and perform other daily chores, but if you truly want the space to yourself, you can say so and they will accommodate you!

We only needed somewhere to put my head and slip a good night after a long flight and it was the perfect place to do it close to the airport very very nice very considering people it’s my second time there just perfect for that

The room was huge with high ceilings and proper curtains (so it was nice and dark at night). It was clean and very comfortable. The location was ideal - right near the main street and 2 minute walk to the beach. The host was kind and helpful. There was a kitchen that could be used and a washing machine for an additional charge. The property was clean and well kept.

The cost of the room didn't quite equate to what we had paid all over Sri Lanka. In other places we had paid approx. 4000 LKR for A/C room and wifi (and often breakfast). Here was paid 6000 LKR with A/C, no wifi and no breakfast. So something to bare in mind but this didn't take away from the lovely modern room.

The room was very big and perfectly clean ! The owner was very quick to answer by phone and really helpful as we arrived very late because of a delayed flight.
