WiFi problems, poor water pressure in the shower. No daily cleaning, need to ask every day for towels or water.

Wow this place is amazing! The property is brand new, the comfiest bed, the cabanas by the pool are so comfy, the food is amazing, the pool is great, and bonus its walking distance to main town arugum bay. We extended our stay. A special thank you for the birthday surprise too :)

we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and provided all the comforts of home. The highlight of our trip was definitely the stunning swimming pools, where we spent hours soaking up the sun and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. The resorts amenities were top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. And the foods were amazing

The room was clean, no insects except some mosquitos. There was hot water. The pool was also very clean. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the restaurants. The staff, especially Ariff, was very helpful. We also used laundry service, except white clothes all were washed well.

Price is high especially considering the low season of Arugam Bay

Paddyway is not on the beach side of the main road, but is just a couple of hundred metres away. Its location is probably much better than those huddled together on the beach with doof-doof music at top volume in some of their restaurants. The room was spacious & although renovations were still going on, we had the lovely pool to ourselves which was great. Shade will be available soon, a problem some other reviewers had mentioned. We left at 5.00am one day to go to Kumana (fabulous), and were provided with a welcome packed breakfast. Our host was very helpful and welcoming, and the coconut drink when we checked in was a nice touch.

Paddyway is very new & some features seem to be somewhat haphazard. There was only one bedside table by the double bed and the light switches were all over the place. At the top of the stairs there is not a seamless transition to the walkway, which you need to keep your eye on - the step is too high, which can be disconcerting & is probably a bit of a safety issue.

We paid £25 a night in a new hotel so that’s a win. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot

Not a good start when they overcharged us and claimed it was a tax increase. No other hotel has done this. They wanted to charge us $15 each for breakfast or $10 if we paid now and had breakfast each day. There is a roti shop opposite that charges $0.4 a roti and more choice a short walk away. The hotel is not finished and building works are going on all day. The gardens are already a mess. The toilet leaked The pool only has one umbrella which is bolted to one of the chairs! On our first day we were asked if we minded if 5 locals came and used the pool!
