Linda is a lovely host, the house is beautiful.

The walls/floors are pretty thin. If one group of guests is particularly rowdy they'll be a nuisance to everyone else staying at the property.

The room was large, nicely appointed and private.

The shower had no hot water, just warm. The bed was a little on the stringy side, getting old. We chose Aachen House because my husband received day surgery at the Skin Specialists nearby. It was his wish to return to our room and quietly watch TV. Unfortunately there was no free to air TV. The house is cold in winter, impossible to heat an old colonial, I know. It's part of the charm but visitors accustomed to heating may be unimpressed.
