Long Cove Resort near Charlotte Airport

Absolutely amazing view and excellent area for family anytime of the year

We loved our stay. We stayed on the houseboat. The hike to the dock wasba little hard, then it turned cold, but we still loved our stay.

This place was in front of a parking lot. Not what I expected for a lake property. We left to another place in he morning. Not recommended

Great place for a multi-family reunion!

This is an adorable property. It’s very quiet with great views and lake beaches. The staff is very nice and responsive to requests. We will definitely be back!

Overall, our stay was very enjoyable! The marina is very easy to locate and very private. The cabins are cute and within a close walk to the beach. There is even a fire pit on the beach that guests are free to use with plenty of firewood nearby. Unfortunately, the cabin we stayed in had no hot water which was not ideal, but we only stayed one night so it wasn't a huge deal. We had a hard time with the Wi-Fi too but we're also in the middle of the woods so that's to be expected. Downtown Charlotte is within a twenty-minute drive so it's a good place to stay if you're looking to still experience the city but not stay within it.

There was just a few bugs that were around the bathroom area, but he was a good location and unit, otherwise.
