70 Tory Apartment

Loved our stay at the Tory - the hotel’s central location helped us have an amazing trip in Wellington, and the staff were always super friendly. A handy little gym (very limited but does the job) and a nice pool. Only downside was that the toilet did leak while we were there, but staff did offer for us to change rooms and fitted the bathroom with extra towels for the floor. Would recommend 👍

There wasn't any patio furniture on the deck of the penthouse suite. Didn't get parking or check in directions until late in the evening. We found another couple who told us what to do.

Jordan and Christian are just amazing and very helpful. When you have great people working a front desk of a hotel, it contributes to your overall stay. In our case, the hotel locations ws perfect. Its a 5 minute walk to KFC, a convenient store eight beside it. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff are just amazing, even the cleaning crew, they were very helpful. I would definitely book there again.

This place was dirty, it's like the cleaners hadn't been in there for weeks. No air-con so it was way too hot and couldn't have the doors while sleeping open due to the noise of the street. TV in the bedroom didn't work. I won't be recommending this place to anyone.

We chose this hotel for close proximity to sporting venue over 5 days so this was good. The room/apartment was great, excellent cooking facilities and relaxing sofa with tv. However when we opened the curtains and sliding balcony doors immediately opposite & I mean 'in your face' was a multi storey car park. There was about a 10 foot gap between our balcony & the car who regularly parked in his reserved slot directly opposite our window. The apartment was so dark you had to have the lights on so felt very vulnerable to car park users & to the fumes from parking cars. We couldn't tell what the weather was like from looking out. Rooms are not serviced & this was not communicated. When we checked out the receptionist had disappeared so we gave up after 15 mins.

Sally at reception was fabulous. - looked after us with no worries. It was pretty loud in our room - right on the street and there was a lot of street noise (delivery trucks, rubbish trucks, bottles etc)late night/early morning. Otherwise bloody great! The pool is pretty epic!!
