I have to say that this was likely the best, cleanest, t comfortable, relaxing and well appointed property we’ve stayed in. The owners have done a fantastic job with it. Perfectly placed, just out of the way but still very close and just a short walk from the centre. We loved our stay there and will very likely book again as I can’t see how it can be topped. Thanks

Lovely property with plenty of space and well equipped. 2 rooms with en suites plus additional bathroom and another separate toilet. Good central location.

A 6 berth property needs more than 1 parking space. With little 24 hour plus parking close by, this caused to be a bit of problem. I understand that property maintenance need to be able to park adjacent to to the property but to have a whole parking space barriered off for the duration of the stay doesn't seem to make total sense when having to move second car around to comply with parking restrictions.

Loved our stay, a clean and comfortable property in a central location.

A few cleaning issues need addressing, window sills and stairwells need a thorough clean also the carpets. Toilet seat in basement needs replacing.

Amazing location, short walk to down town

This was my 2nd visit 1 The Mount. It’s a beautiful light and airy house on 3 levels. Lots of privacy for small groups, perfect location – minutes from town and beach, sea views from the large kitchen/living area. It also has a dedicated parking space.

Sadly, the property is let down by the management company, Host and Stay. I notified them twice during my stay that the cooker hob did not work and therefore we were unable to cook anything (as planned). Host and Stay did not respond or try to resolve the issue until after I had returned home. I received an email saying “Sorry, hope it didn’t spoil your stay”. Well of course it did! All guests had to go out to eat (in gale force winds and torrential rain) at additional cost and inconvenience. Most of the food we had brought with us was wasted and it completely turned our plans upside down. Host and Stay offered a small refund, however, this was 10 days ago and despite chasing up several times, I have heard nothing and received nothing. I am not happy.
