Host & Stay - 3 The Mount

The house was in an excellent location, and was perfect for our 3 night stay. There was everything we needed and was so clean and modern. We would definitely stay there and again.

The only negative was the check in time of 4pm, meaning we were moving in in the dark.

Very spacious, all mod cons with added little extras

Really spacious, modern and well equipped with all that we needed for a family weekend away. Nice touches like toiletries, dishwasher tablets, towels etc all provided.

The location is a bit tricky to find. It would also be really helpful to have more parking- although we went out of season and general parking was free. I guess this could be a bit more tricky in peak summer.

The accommodation was spacious and modern, close to central Whitby but just out of the way enough to be quieter. Comfy beds and three showers, four toilets, enough for everyone.

We could have used some extra parking, coming with six adults in different cars. Maybe some shelves for toothbrushes near the sink, and a wire shelf for shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. The TV aerial, or aerial cable may need looking at as the signal was weak.

Electrical supply to fridge and freezer was not easy to find and looked dangerous when we found it behind a kick boards and prob did not meet electrical installation standards. WiFi difficult to connect to as wrong connection info in apartment and online info. Water coming through ceiling in bathroom when we left near a light fitting TV Aerial connection faulty and went off at inconvenient times Management not familiar with the property as not local and no local contact available to us . Really felt we had to sort problems out ourselves and management not interested as a big company with lots of properties everywhere. Fridge smelt on arrival and should have been cleaned better. Twin bedded room shower/bathroom smelt of stale drain smell. Towels clean but not great quality

Location was excellent short walk from harbour and old town. Property well presented and maintained

Roads front and back so some traffic noise during late evenings and early in morning Strange fusty smell in bathrooms which meanr we has to have exteact fans on most of the day to clear the smell. Returned by morning if turned fans off. Something wrong with the drsins?

Parking for only one vehicle. Quite a few stairs. Cleaners wanting in as we were leaving.
