Naxian Serenity Suites

Really enjoyed our stay here. The place had a modern feel to it - nicely decorated, well ventilated, and clean. The views from the balcony were amazing and it was the perfect spot to enjoy a beer in the evening while waiting for my partner to get ready. The location was spot on, situated right between Agia Anna and Plaka Beach (our favourite spots), which meant everything was within a short walk. The host, Yannis, was great too - really friendly and accommodating. He even gave us some orange pie, which was a very generous, especially considering we had developed quite a taste for it during the trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Newly decorated apartment, with air conditioning, modern kitchen equipment. Comfortable mattress! What we loved the most was the veranda and seat outdoors to chill after a day at the beach. It's walking distance 3 min to Agia Ana. There was also daily cleaning of the apartment. Yannis and Adonia made us feel at home, Yannis gave us some of the potatoes he grows and for which Naxos is so well known for, in their authentic Greek welcoming way.

Close to the beach and the rooms are nice in the shade so not to hot inside.

Πανέμορφο κατάλυμα σε υπέροχη τοποθεσία!! Λίγα βήματα από την παραλία της αγιας Αννας τόσο ώστε να έχεις ηρεμία αλλά παράλληλα να είσαι δίπλα στην παραλία και στα μαγαζιά. Το δωμάτιο είναι μεγάλο , με ωραία μπαλκόνια για να απολαύσεις το ηλιοβασίλεμα, άνετο ντουζ και εξοπλισμένα με ό,τι χρειάζεσαι. Οι οικοδεσπότες είναι αξιολάτρευτοι, ο Γιάννης και η μαμά του είναι γλυκύτατοι άνθρωποι και κανουν ό,τι περνάει από το χέρι τους να έχουν τους επισκέπτες τους ευχαριστημένους. Χαρήκαμε τόσο πολύ που επιλέξαμε να μείνουμε εδώ και που γνωρίσαμε τόσο ωραίους ανθρώπους. Ευχαριστούμε πάρα πολύ για όλα και ανυπομονούμε να σας ξανά δούμε σύντομα !! ❤️

Το μόνο που δεν μου άρεσε ήταν που έπρεπε να φύγουμε !

The walkway was a bit scary, but the person in charge was very helpful. It was cleaned daily.

Stanza come nelle foto, curata e bella, con vista mare e tramonto. Servizio di pulizia e cambio asciugamani giornaliero. Host super disponibile ad ogni nostra richiesta. Qualità prezzo ottimo. Posizione comoda per Agia Anna a piedi (stradina un po’ buia la sera ma con la torcia del iPhone si risolve)

Very close to agia Anna, yet far enough away to avoid noise. Hosts were extremely friendly and went above our expectations, even allowing us a later checkout as we had a later flight into Athens.

The good points are few. I liked the view - it’s what I came for - and the little veranda is a pleasant place to see it. The location, slightly back from the main village, is quiet. I thought the elderly cleaning lady was quite sweet.

Maybe the other apartments are splendid, but the ‘sea view suite’ is nothing like the promotional pictures, and the facilities are not as they are listed. Seating area? There isn’t a single chair inside, let alone a sofa or sofa bed. No dining area (besides the small veranda).The kitchen facilities consist of a rusty plug-in hob and a battered fridge. Presumably the saucepan is the ‘tea/coffee maker’. There’s no basin in the ‘bathroom’ - it’s in the bedroom. I never saw an alarm clock or mosquito net, or a radio. The wifi is almost useless. The TV is a small thing stuck high on a wall where there are no comfortable place to watch it. The apartment was obviously spruced up for the publicity photos. In reality the place has no style or comfort. It soon becomes clear that the decor is not quaintly rustic, just cheapskate: curtain tracks made of sticks, bedside tables from crudely hacked tree trunks. I also found that, in spite of Grannie’s efforts, the apartment felt dirty. The main bedroom mattress, in particular, seemed dusty, and it affected my lungs. Half way through my six day stay I decided I could stick it no longer, and moved out. I am mystified by the positive reviews, and can only think they refer to other apartments in the building. Choose carefully!
