Grumbles Cottage at Loggerhead Yard

The property is in an excellent location and the fixtures and fittings are great, dont be put off by not having parking if you are willing to walk from up the back of the train station there are roads there that have no restriction on parking, having a scratch card for W parking at this accomodation would greatly help though. The beds are comfy and the showers are fab. NB if you are in the second floor bedroom take earplugs to save you cursing the pigeons, calling them vocal at 4am in the morning doesn't do them justice

The apartment was clean if you didn't look too closely window sills etc had dead insects on them. Minor things but glasses could do with topping back up not 4 of each and the main window and door outside are badly in need of a clean don't be put of by this when you arrive inside is better. There were no toiletries although they are advertised and no coffee pods although on the Host and Stay confirmation it says you do get them ,very minor things I know

Beautiful decor and very comfy beds. Excellent, clean and modern ensuites.

Location was good nice power shower

The cleanliness was diabolical awfl smell, urine stains on landing carpet, dust EVERYWHERE mould in shower and human hair in the bathroom corners, even the hairdryer was covered in dust, the 2 flight's of stairs are very steep and the loft bedroom which was a decent size was like living with the seagulls and pigeons, the photos are only a minimum of how dirty this property is

The cottage is beautifully decorated and clean.

The outside area is rather grotty and could use a good sweep, not helped by the fact that the drain is totally blocked so water just runs off everywhere. The front door is straight onto the "throughfare" ( a very narrow path leading to Baxtergate). This wasn't that busy actually, you got the odd person walking past but overall not an issue. Stairs very steep.
