Grumbles Cottage at Loggerhead Yard

So close to the centre and it was cosy and warm.

I was on the top floor and we noticed a leak into the hall we had showered.

We did not get into the property due to a disagreement between booking . Com and the landlord never resolved We were left with no accommodation

Furnishing. The accommodation is very well presented. You will have mostly what you need. Location is great.

* BROKEN BED * - One of the beds was broken on our arrival which we didn't fully examin, we just saw the wooden leg being bent seemingly incorrect way, but as I wouldn't expect to have to check the condition of furniture every time I check into a property, we left it as it was. The said bed had then COLLAPSED under my elderly father during the night. * THE NOISE * - We were either unlucky and had a very noisy neighbour who played HAPPY HARDCORE MUSIC until 3am or the club on corner has a questionable music selection. If you end up in the loft bedroom, be prepared for pigeons waking you up as if they were sat on the bedside table next to you. * LEAK/ DRIP * - from top bathroom all the way to the ground floor. * UNRESPONSIVE HOST * - I informed the host of all of the above issues and received no reply whatsoever. * CLEANLINESS * - top floor bedroom looked like it's not been vacuumed for a while I would not recommend staying here unless you are either deaf or just willing to risk it. And a heads up, on arrival the thermostat downstairs (only one) was set to 12 degrees, it took 5/6 hrs to bring the property to a comfortable temperature. No extra blankets/ pillows/ duvets.

Excellent location. Lots of shops nearby and very close to the train. Ideal size for us. The bedrooms are a great size and very comfortable and the en suites are great. I would be looking to book this to take my daughter to another time

The sofa was a bit low to watch the TV. You get a sore neck trying to keep your head up. If it was possible to get a taller backed sofa it would be more comfortable.

The location is brilliant, it’s quiet and it’s clean.

Nothing to dislike.

It was super cosy, nice and warm and excellently located! Furnished nicely, quite clean and tidy.

TV is awkward to watch due to where it’s placed, small fridge/freezer. This is being REALLY picky!

Grumbles Cottage was very cute, clean, good facilities and a fabulous location, right in the centre of town, near everything you need. The online staff were fantastic too.

One of the beds was not as comfortable as the other and was a bit creaky, this was only a small issue as I am a light sleeper..
