Property is in great location. Angelos, the host, is extremely welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. He makes recommendations on where to go. We had king room by pool. Very spacious and comfortable bed. Property is by busy road but we didn’t get disturbed by noise in room. Small kitchenette allows for breakfasts and snacks

Nothing really. Our only issue on 10 day stay was lack of storage and wardrobe space. There is a small rail so property suited to shorter stays. Having said that it didn’t detract or spoil our holiday…we will visit again!

Beautifully restored property - with everything I needed with the luxury of walking straight out to the pool.

Nothing it was perfect for me.

We had a wonderful stay! We booked the poolside room — it was super spacious and comfortable. The room includes a well-equipped kitchenette, perfect for preparing light meals if you prefer staying in. Angelo is an amazing host, warm and welcoming, and the building itself has a unique story and rich history that adds real character to the experience. You can truly feel the boutique atmosphere — authentic, intimate, and thoughtfully designed. The pool was lovely and inviting, and we have to mention the shampoo and soap — they smell absolutely incredible, honestly the best we’ve come across! Right across the street, there’s a charming local grocery store, which was very convenient. Parking was also easy — plenty of public spots available nearby, even at night, and all free of charge. And best of all, you’re just a relaxed 5-minute walk away from the harbor and the old town. Couldn’t ask for a better balance between peaceful retreat and vibrant surroundings.

The biggest disappointment? Having to leave after just one night

The spacious suite where we stayed was a blend of old and new, with modern design alongside antique and authentic furniture pieces. The suite is located within a historic building designated for preservation and reflects the skills of the owner, Angelo, an architect by profession, who renovated the building with great talent, while respecting its history and paying attention to every detail. Angelo was an exemplary host – friendly, kind, and always available. We also had the pleasure of meeting Angelo's wonderful father and enjoying his company. We had a wonderful stay and thank Angelo from the bottom of our hearts.

The owner Angelos is a great guy who takes his time to welcome the guests, and to provide a host of local information. Location is very close to central Chania, also easy to get to the beach at Koum Kapi, 5-10 mins walk. The building is set back from the road, with a nice garden to relax in. No problem with noise, it's quiet at night.

Host was amazing. We loved it

Completely feel in love with this property’s renovated spaces. Had an absolutely ball in Crete trying out the recommended food places, bars and historical places. Thank you to Angelo whose passion for hospitality, the history of the building and knowledge of the island helped me to gain an insight into the world of Chaina. Simply a great couple of days and experience. Thank you 🙏
