Something ate my food overnight and did a big poop on the floor- I assume a rat- I understand it’s in the wilderness so I wasn’t too phased The food wasn’t great. We ordered some food it wasn’t heated up properly

Una esperienza da fare se si vuole vivere davvero nel pieno della natura, lontano da qualsiasi luogo urbano. Si è completamente immersi nella foresta. Può essere spaventoso a tratti ma in realtà é proprio quello che cercavamo. Il letto era comodissimo, la casetta é piccola ma ha tutto il necessario. Non avete bisogno di altro. La piscina e la vista non hanno prezzo. Il personale é stato gentilissimo e super disponibile.

The actual condition of the villa is a bit far from what the photos show! We just arrived, took off the shoes, and a few moments later I stepped into a nail head because the wooden floor moved too much vertically. The shower drainage was weak, the shower area got filled up with water quickly. The villa is a bit neglected, such as broken handrail missing pool tiles, moving wooden floors. The sound insulation is very bad, the rain and animal sounds are super loud. After a day of heavy rain the roof started leaking right onto the bed, so we had to move the bed to 'survive' the night. The cleaning was superficial sometimes, such as not refilling toilet paper. The restaurant is really overpriced (what they also know and said), another restaurant in 5 minutes walking distance has half price. Massage is also overpriced, 3x more than in Ubud. We communicated in advance our check-out time but no one was at the reception. Keep in mind that the location is remote, taxi service Is always needed to get back.
