Anja Villas Ubud

Incredible location, super helpful staff, super easy to find! You will sleep well and the view is just incredible from the room and when you are in the pool it's awesome ! 🤩

I recently stayed at Anja Villa Ubud, and it was an incredible experience. The villa is perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse themselves in nature’s tranquility. The peaceful surroundings were truly rejuvenating, ideal for nature lovers. The staff were exceptional, friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile. They carried our luggage, arranged motorbike rentals, and even gave me a ride to an ATM when the card reader had a hiccup. Their kindness and helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable. The restaurant at the bottom of the hill served delicious meals, and there were plenty of local food options just a quick 5-minute drive away in the nearby town. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with excellent service and convenient access to local attractions, I highly recommend Anja Villa Ubud!

The Villa/Bungalow is on a lovely hill northern of Ubud. The view is stunning from the Villa, you can see a beautiful valley with a lot of trees and skyline. Pool is nice and cold. As this is a little remote bungalow (which is obvious on the pictures) the space is fairly small, lower level small kitchenette/living space with bathroom and upstairs the bedroom with balcony to the rope hammock. Only AC on the upper floor, however you can cool down the bungalow if you make sure the doors are closed well :) The breakfast is very nice and on request - or if you sleep in - the staff is kind enough to bring it up to your villa. We had overall a lovely experience! Special thanks to Wayan, who found my BT speaker which I have left after checking out and kept it for me until I have picked it up the next day! Not much maybe for someone who really likes jungle atmosphere but not for me

Not enough sanitary stuff toilet paper, tissues, hot water runs out after 2 mins of shower shampoo shower gel very bad couldn’t charge phone as it only had that weird rounded socket breakfast was disappointing as well didn’t expect much by that time anyway.

The best thing about Anja Villas Ubud was the view into the green valley and the infinity pool from which you can soak up the scenery. The balinese style hut was spacious with a large bed and a couch to sit on, it even had its own mini refridgerator. On your own veranda you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The rental of a scooter was really easy and cheap. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here.

It is far up north of Ubud and you have to drive about 30 min into the city. The way from the reception to the actual rooms is pretty far, especially with luggage. It can be quite loud at night with the running river and the animals, so I would not recommend it to light sleepers.

The villa is located in a remote area so no disturbance and complete peace. They offered car and bike rental. The food, wifi, and private pool were good and clean.

The scenery was good.

The restaurant was not supportive for dinner as it closed at 5 pm in the evening. It is a little bit outside from the main city so no other restaurants near by.
