Kirkhill Estate Rooms

Exceptional value. Travelled with two young kids one with eating disorder, so having access to a kitchen puts this head and shoulders above the competition in relation to value. Also had large lounge, which would have been handy if it was raining outside. Nice large gardens for the kids to run around in. Staff were very friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. We were only there for one night, but would definitely consider it next time I'm in the area, even if it's not as near to where we travel the next time. The room was also a good size and clean. Setting is also very good. It would have been very peaceful if it wasn't for my two being there. Even with them, the open space seemed to absorb some of their exuberance.

Criticism of myself rather than the destination. I booked it last minute at night, for the next evening whilst I was dealing with the kids and didn't fully read the check in procedure. (Room key access) Make sure you do as internet access isn't great once there. A very minor issue that was mine in the making.

Wi Fi never worked. Not so much as a cup or spoon in the room. Lacks the basics.

Rooms were run down, no working WiFi connection no TV, bed was uncomfortable. ,

The room was terrible. The bed was even worse. Mattress was so soft we could feel the bottom of the bed. The pillows were so flat we had to go out and buy some pillows for it didn’t eat. Staff didn’t know who is staff all in all I would not go there again

Family of four,very safe for family, kitchen was excellent,one has to own his own transport to come here,we started our journey from this place and it was a comfortable stay for us.

Had a wifi issue in the room.

The garden has amazing views and the odd rabbit running about.

There was no WiFi and because my room was in the lower part of the house I had no phone signal too, but because the weather was so nice I sat in the garden.
