Beautiful old house with a vast amount of history attached to it. All facilities just as described ahead of arrival. Will return again!!

No detail provided about where to park on arrival, nor how to find the self catering kitchen. However, by wandering through the hallways we were successful! We would have loved to meet our hosts and learn about Andrew Carnegie.

Stunning old manner house in its own surroundings with exceptional views! Extra spacious room at an incredible price. Communal kitchen area with everything you’d need to cook and prepare a meal. The free range peacocks, chickens and ducks are a delight to see.

The fact we were on a road trip and could only stay for the two nights we booked due to a storm moving in. Would of happily stayed for a week.

It is a grand old house. Nice location and lots of ducks.

Breakfast consisted of a few local snacks and drinks. Not very appetising or nutritious. Left in a basket on the bedside table. The long gravel drive was quite scary on my motorbike.

Peat brown water for showering and washing, they did provide drinking water in bottles though that was good

Beautiful house. Isolated location off the beaten path. Self check-in with little lock boxes were very convenient. Unfortunately the booking dot com app did not send me the needed details until the next day. That is the booking dot com that sucks, not the falls.

Vividly haunted. all night long the room next to us had furniture slamming into the walls. Throughout most of the night. No hot nor warm water from 9:00-9:45am and checkout is 10:00am
