The Heritage Guest House

Use of kitchen was great for making own meals.

Good upgraded modern fixtures and fittings, shower room/toilet all very clean and high quality. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals, 2 air fryers, toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge, plates, bowls, cutlery etcetera. Even though it's a shared kitchen for all guests, everyone cleared up after themselves and nothing was left out of place. The bedroom was fine with wardrobe and 2 bedside lamps and a big set of drawers for storage. There was a nice big Samsung TV on the wall with a fire stick to use for your TV channels and Netflix, Amazon, BBC, YouTube etcetera. The manger and her partner were welcoming and helpful and they pop in to tidy the communal areas and clean bathrooms etcetera. I purposely chose this guesthouse because I wanted to be able to cook my own food because I am very fussy and don't like other people making food for me so in that respect it was ideal.

There is a number of contract workers who stay for weeks at a time and they get up and out early so if you are near the kitchen like I was you might get woke up at 6am or something as they get ready to go out but you could have early risers in any place so who knows but apart from getting up early they treat the place very respectful and tidy their plates and stuff away and get to bed early 😁

Adam and Elaine are super hosts. Room could do with kettle, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Clean and comfortable but cold due to single glazed windows. noisy in the early morning when contractors go to work.

Very clean and even better with own bathroom . Adam was a good host and showed me around the facilities. Very organised and a great stay. He informed me of great places to eat out and takeaways. Great chippy near on high street “ masala fish “ yummy 😋

The room was a little cold during night but didn’t know how to turn heating on . However this I feel is minor
