The Bluebell

This is a self contained studio flat, with a fridge, oven and microwave. The kitchen has all the utensils you will need. Everywhere in the flat is extremely clean and the kitchen and bathroom areas are very modernised, and a parking space is available too. It is a good location and has easy access to the centre of the city and close to the Roman Baths, which is the obvious attraction to see, but the Jane Austen museum is also worth a visit.

Nothing to do with the flat, but be aware that Bath (which is a lovely city) is very hilly and if you are driving there are many roads with only a 20mph speed limit.

Convenient position, near bus stop for city centre, but walkable. Clean but could do with modernisation. Basic amenities in room but a small fridge would be useful. Plenty of fresh milk, water and apples in the hall but that meant two flights of narrow stairs to negotiate, and no chance of keeping the milk cold. Didn't see any information about bus times or places of interest and there was nowhere to sit down in the room except on the bed. It wasn't a huge problem for us as the good weather meant we didn't need to be in the room much. Bathroom clean and with good facilities. Suitable for a short stay but wouldn't recommend for more than a couple of nights. Biggest issue was the step up to our room. It could do with a hazard strip, very easy to fall over it.

sehr schön und geschmackvoll möbliertes Zimmer mit kleinem aber sehr feinem Bad in einem bezaubernden Haus (ruhige Lage)- sogar der Garten vor dem Haus ist sehr gepflegt und liebevoll gestaltet!! Zutritt ins Haus nur mit PIN (wird vorab mitgeteilt). Frische Milch und Wasser stehen für jeden Gast kostenlos zur Verfügung. Das Zimmer ist mit allen wichtigen Dingen ausgestattet (Kleiderstange, Platz für den Koffer, kleine Couch inkl. Tisch, ein grosser Spiegel, Duschgel, Shampoo, Handseife,…), da wurde wirklich an alles gedacht. Der Holzboden im Raum rundet das Ganze perfekt ab! Ein Zimmer zum Wohlfühlen ab der ersten Minute.

I didn't meet any staff except briefly, the very nice room attendant. The room was adequate for my stay and the bed very comfortable. On return on the 2nd evening the automatic lights did not come on which made a little struggle to climb the stairs without my mobile torch light. The location was ideal for a short walk into town and despite being on a busy road the area & room was quiet. The floor standing fan was adequate for a comfortable nights sleep despite it being the hottest day of the year so far.

The hairdryer had an american plug which I couldn't at first find a socket to fit it until the following day when realising it was in an extension plug. May be a pointer within the room could have been given

Location and the room were very comfortable.

Very minor but I like to have the occasional smoke and unless you book the room with a terrace there is nowhere to go. Also only one breakfast teabag and we were there for two nights.
