Excelsior at the Manor House

Loved the setting as part of a park. The Inn was an opulent private residence in a previous century. The grounds included a botanical garden. Our room was Clean, comfortable, and quiet . No staff on site which was a little scary coming in in the dark. No breakfast, but the room had coffee.

No staff on premises.

The cottage was terrible, should be codemed

Worms crawling on floor, smell, toilet rocked like a rocking chair!!!

Nice property, no one on premises. The last time we stayed there it was a full service bed and breakfast. Was disappointed this service was gone.

Good experience. Did not see any staff. Instructions to enter could come sooner. I thought there was breakfast, but not.

Great location but quite isolated. Hard to see the lake and you have to drive to get to it. The pool is short walk away from the cottage. We liked the service clearing trees from roads after the hurricane. Very prompt! View of trees in the suite was stunning. Appliances worked and were clean. The AC worked well.

The beds were too soft and uncomfortable. The place needed to be cleaned of bugs and cobwebs. They were covering every window.

We slept with a mouse inside.spiders and insects.
