"Very Good"

Out of the way Hidfen in its own grounds pleasen place and friendly

didnt like the shower area loose floor board under covering every time you went to toilet or shower that was room 6 Cherry dont know about the other rooms

The location

Outside areas not as advertised furniture covered in mildew and mold not able to use hadn’t been cleaned !!! Felt the room looked tired wallpaper coming off ceiling paint flaking off bedroom not cleaned old cobwebs hanging from the ceiling Tea try coffee and tea poor Not possible to Open a room window!! The bed linen did not fit the bed and was old The pillows were cheap and old The Bathroom towels were dreadful and very small Breakfast was budget ingredients Not as advertised very poor

Location was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic. Everything tasted amazing. Would have liked another cup of tea at breakfast. Wasn’t offered but also I never asked. Felt like the lord of the manor.

Gorgeous location, very peaceful.

For the price, maybe water in the room and more coffee. The curtains didn't meet, so woken up very early.

"A Lovely Place to stay."

The rooms were lovely, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and well cooked. We had a lovely stay. it was quiet and peaceful too.

More tea and coffee provided. Only two teabags per room which meant we had to reuse. They were topped up daily but we thought that two was a little tight considering the room rate. there was a slight fumy smell in one room and this was explained as old house and chimney. The window being open did help. The room was lovely and it was comfortable. The single track from the main road is ok but would be difficult if something was coming the other way.

"Ok, but expected more for what we paid."

The hostess who greeted us, showed us our room and served breakfast on the first day was excellent. Excellent, quiet location, 5min walk to popular bus route. Comfy bed, large room. Breakfast food quality good.

Other staff gave impression they didn't want to be there. Limited breakfast options, juice served to table rather than help yourself, didn't get asked if everything was ok with breakfast or if we'd like more tea/coffee/toast.
