The rooms are small the bathroom was very small shower could do with an upgrade The tiled floor in the room needs some decent rugs or carpeting, the floor was freezing needs a coat of paint and a TV unit that is on the wall needs taking down and there is a coffee machine in the room we didn't use as there was water left in it plus no instructions how to use. Garden furniture being used as breakfast tables and chairs, not big enough to get everything on it ie plate with breakfast, plate with toast, tea and coffee had to juggle things and put some on another table. They say there is a bar and yes there is but it is hidden behind a curtain, and a bigger room with bigger tables that could be used So all in all needs a good make over painting, reorganising. For the price not value for money And the M40 is right in your room new windows would help

Absolutely nothing
Hotel owners were a very nice couple, room, even with heating, was cold. Facilities are OK however requires some work, not bad for the price though. Breakfast was good!
GBThe hosts Sam and Jessica are lovely. I was the only person staying that weekend but they offered help and said just to ask if I needed anything. Also put heating on for me when I called to say I was heading back. Very clean best sleep I have had when sleeping away from home. I always struggle to sleep in a strange place . You are near a busy road in the distance so bear that in mind if you wake easily. Either ear plugs will help . There's a kettle and coffee machine.. It's perfect for a quick stay I had Fri to Monday it was lovely to look out the window to a lovely big garden. I will be back at some point. Breakfast was a lovely big pot of tea lovely breakfast thank you again and J
I don't believe I have a bad thing about this lovely place. It maybe not be fancy enough for some but I liked it.
AUJessica and Sam were gracious, kind and humble hosts who would do anything to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. We found the rooms and beds very comfortable and did not want for anything. Biscuits, tea and coffee facilities in room were much appreciated and shower was great. Kids said that the tv and wifi was the best they had on our tour around Scotland, England and the continent. Cooked breakfast was great though we all missed our favorite black pudding on the second day. Jessica generously gave us some fruit to take for our continued road trip. Thanks!
Would've been a 10 if there was black pudding for breakfast the second morning. Everything else was excellent. Good luck to the kind hosts in their venture.
