Guest house was spotless, kitchen and living room spacious, tea and coffee in rooms. Shower is powerfully.wonderful stay here, highly recommend

Accomodation provided everything you could possibly need but in some areas it could have been cleaner. The bathroom mirror was really dirty, the draining board in the kitchen was dirty and had hairs on it. Kitchen cupboards need cleaning.Due to a long journey we changed our plans and arrived later. Check in was up until 8pm. Harold was very accommodating but I did feel uncomfortable on arrival as he made us feel that he'd been really put out by us turning up later than we said. I was being politely told off. Overall ok.

We loved the location. Around 5 miles outside of Durham city centre it offered almost perfect peace and quiet while sitting out in the lovely garden. The property is spotlessly clean with a spacious lounge and kitchen.. We are already making plans to return next April..

La struttura è stupenda arredata con mobili nuovi e perfettamente pulita ed in ordine. Accogliente e ti trovi subito a tuo agio. Anche se un po’ distante dall’autostrada merita veramente staccare la spina e trascorrere almeno una notte tranquilla in questo splendido posto. Ringrazio ancora il proprietario che, anche se all’ultimo minuto, ci ha accolti e fatto sentire come a casa.
