Al-Dora Resort Hurghada

Nothing and it was not bad or good and sometimes it was horrible nothing to comment about

Probably the broken lamps, the dirty sheets and bathroom, no beach, no internet and the tv was broken. Basically a scam and doesn’t deserve a one star rating.

Small resort with very friendly staff and excellent food.

Located at the far north end of Hurghada. Pool is not heated which is not ok for a visit in December.

Hani, Mohammed, The owner and just all the staff are just wonderful, kind, helpful and very friendly. You feel safe and comfortable in the hotel. Two of my friends who were also in the hotel traveled on to Kuwait and forgot their jackets in the hotel, at that time I was still in Hurghada and could easily pick up the jackets for my friends, the jackets were safely stored by the hotel staff. All in all, definitely recommended! I'm looking forward to next year and I am full of anticipation to be your guest again. Greetings from Kraków!)))

The flies can sometimes get on your nerves outside, especially in the sun ... 😂 But you have to deal with that in the whole of Hurghada....))

The breakfast is absolutely amazing and the design of the property is nice.

Some parts of the property are not finished and the room is quite dark due to a small window.

It’s a new resort, big rooms, have a private beach not far from the resort, they provide towels for guests daily, same for bottles of water in the room.

I would have like the resort to have entertainment because there’s nothing to do there around the sheets were very worn, they felt rough to the touch. I booked a room with a single bed but they gave us separate beds and then at the request to change they just put the beds close together, it was ok because the beds were bigger then a normal single one so we could just sleep in one single bed together

The new or after renovation hotel. Walls are freshly painted, new furniture. Everything works. Very good food. Not much of a choice, but always few salads and few different kinds of second dishes. Once they served a duck! Good service. Checking in took like 5-7 minutes. Cleaning every day. In other words - I have nothing to complain about. If I'd go to Hurghada again this hotel will be on the top of my list

The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the staff very friendly

I spent 2 weeks here "All Inclusive" and everything was great. The room was very good, very clean and tidy, with a big comfy king-size bed, Flat screen TV, fridge, coffee,/tea making facilities, good size shower and Aircon. The WiFi in my room was not particularly fast but reasonably reliable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. You can arrange various tours with the guys at reception. There is also a bar near reception where you can buy various non alcoholic drinks, juices etc. The main pool is very nice, with some sun beds and a small pool bar. The water is quite cold, but it's nice and invigorating, especially in the morning. In November the pool area is in the shade from around 3.30pm. There are also three other smaller pools. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are served in the rooftop restaurant. It's quite small but I always got a table and there was always plenty of food. Whilst I was staying there, they were working on another restaurant down stairs so this may change where you eat in the future. Now to the food. I thought the Breakfast, lunch and Dinner were all very good. A good choice of things to eat and all of it pretty good quality and taste. All in all, I was very happy with the selection and quality of the food. FYI - "All inclusive" in Al Dora doesn't mean all food & all drinks free all the time. It means that you get breakfast, lunch and dinner (with water, coffee or juice) included in the price. You also get snacks around the bar pool area. Any additional drinks (hot/cold) are chargeable. The free beach is actually the Davinci Hotel beach which isn't strictly a real beach, it's more like a flat concrete area with sand covering the concrete, but hey, it's perfectly fine for enjoying the sun. There's slso plenty of sunbeds with large umbrellas. In November it's nice and peaceful.

The was only one negative thing on my holiday and that was the guests near my room who insisted on slamming their room doors.,and dragging furniture across the floor. Quite annoying, but of course, it's not the hotels fault.  The flies. I would recommend buying and using some black fly insect repellent as the fly's can be annoying (sometimes), but it's only when your laying by the pool, If you're walking around it's fine, and it's not a negative point against the hotel, it's just nature.

Good food, cosy rooms and a swimming pool (sometimes too cold water and too much chlorine).

As usual some staff members were trying to frame us into some tours paid at the reception, even though we already had everything booked on our own. I know you have a commission from it, but come on... Also many renovations and buildings sites were at work while we stayed in the hotel. If you have some construction works there, don't check in guests... One guy in the lobby shattered the whole glass door while other guests were in the area... Glass everywhere, including his hands 🤦🏼‍♂️ Also there was some electricity and internet blackouts. Imagine being in the elevator at that moment... Since that we were always using stairs to get to the 6th floor where the dining room was.

The staff was friendly and helpful all the time. The stay was one day but it was a great day. I would like to thank Justina from the reception staff for her help all the time.

Room location. I was supposed to book a room with a sea view but it wasn't.
