Volcano Union Inn and Pub

Lovely old hotel and restaurant, but noisy at night

Can't say enough good things about this little gem in Volcano, CA. We were there for a romantic weekend-again! The staff especially stands out for me--friendly, attentive and more than happy to help make your stay wonderful. We've stayed in the Limon room all three times we've visited--because--the tub! It also has direct access to the balcony, which is great for enjoying an evening glass of wine or morning coffee while watching Volcano go by. Bring your earplugs, however, as with all old buildings, there is not much between you and the restaurant noise one floor down. We also find an eyemask to be useful as we are not accustomed to light from street lamps at night. The food is great with a nice selection and specials that really add to the menu. Again--the staff is top notch as well. Overall, you can't go wrong at the Union Inn and Pub!

This was a special treat! A tiny town with a big heart. The service was excellent, food delicious and the room comfortable. Plus, a huge bathroom. There is also a game room, DVDs, free coffee and tea as well as snacks. Plus, a gourmet breakfast included A served next to a very unique fireplace.

Quaint, quiet and friendly.

The hotel is lovely. Dinner was great, sat on the balcony after dinner watching the stars. Breakfast was ample and tasty. The ambiance is lovely and I definitely plan to go back in spring. Save your online maps as cell reception is limited but the hotel WiFi is great.

The Inn and rooms are lovely. The pub food is fantastic and the breakfast was more than ample. They made us feel very welcome! The bed was quite comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony as the sun set and the stars came out. We highly recommend staying and will go again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was outstanding and amazing. I would go back just for the food, staff and location.

Excellent. Comfortable room and bed. Quiet. Food is made with love and tasted accordingly. Has a nice outdoor patio. Everyone was super friendly. Parking in front of the door. There is water, coffee and some snacks available all day and night long.

Quaint hotel where every aspect is lovely!! Especially, staffs are very friendly and welcome. Cannot say it is modern but absolutely comfortable!
