"A Great Inn"

10.0

The Boulevard Inn is an old, historically important mansion, renovated and immaculate. It is situated beautifully, in an architecturally interesting neighborhood, a short stroll both to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and to lively Cary Street, where you have your pick of restaurants. Parking is off-street and free. Breakfast is low-key and delicious. In addition to a large assortment of muffins, scones, and fruit, hot breakfasts are offered. Coffee is available all day; wine in the evening. Staff are wonderful -- as helpful as one could wish. When we return to Richmond, we will have no doubt where we'll stay.

"A Truly Wonderful Experience!"

10.0

My wife & I experienced a wonderful 2 night getaway at The Boulevard Inn. We were warmly greeted by Rachael on arrival. The owners of the inn, Mitch & Roni have restored this historic property into something truly magical. The wine & cheese social in the evening was a nice touch at the end of the day. The breakfast offerings in the morning were a delight for the taste buds. They included pastries, house made quiches, fresh fruit and multiple coffee choices from the Jura coffee maker. We are looking forward to staying again at The Boulevard Inn!

"Immaculate"

10.0

The inn is immaculate and the owners, Roni and Mitch are charming. The location is great for a visit to the VMFA. The wine and cheese reception was a nice addition. And, the breakfast (especially the pastries) were yummy. We will be back. Highly recommend.

"Fabulous!"

10.0

My husband I had the great pleasure of staying at The Boulevard Inn at the start of our road trip to Tennessee. We were greeted by the consummate professional, Rachael. She made us feel welcome upon entering the inn. Jeffrey was our go to person for our needs and questions. Mitch and Roni were away for the weekend. Rachael and Jeffrey held down the fort beautifully. Our room with deck was stunning. The bed was extremely comfortable. We do suggest use ear plugs, and or the noise machine provided due to Street noise for sleeping. Happy hour which offered delicious snacks and a variety of wines was a welcome event before stepping out for dinner. Breakfast buffet was lovely and delicious along with homemade hot food items offered. The Inn is convenient for walking to many places of interest. When we find ourselves in Richmond again, The Boulevard Inn will be our place to stay.

"Loved it"

10.0

Loved the place and the people. Walking distance to several of the museums. We have stayed at many B&Bs and this one is among the best. If ever make it back in Richmond we will come back here for sure. Beds were comfortable, rooms were quite, and the breakfasts were tasty.

"Just excellent!"

10.0

Just excellent in all respects. The Inn is located in a busy section of the City and there is traffic. Adequate parking in the rear. The home is spotless and well maintained. Details are well thought out. The Hosts are attentive and welcoming.

"Another wonderful time at the Boulevard Inn!"

10.0

Mitchell and Roni are consummate hosts. The location is right near the VMFA, a great art museum, restaurants and nightspots. We have stayed before; the accommodations are sumptuous, and breakfast always a treat. There is a wonderful hall, perfect for bridal pictures - in fact the whole place is perfectly decorated.

"A Terrific B&B"

10.0

The Inn has been beautifully restored. We stayed in the Boulevard Suite and it was just great. The room was large, well appointed and wonderfully comfortable. Gorgeous, huge bathroom with excellent shower, ample windows with terrific shutters throughout. There’s a great happy hour and breakfast each day which should not be missed—great food and beverage options for both. Downside is our room fronted Arthur Ashe Boulevard and there’s a lot of loud traffic. That also interfered with enjoying the huge deck and seating as it was just too loud to sit and enjoy. A definite must if you’re staying in Richmond. And don’t miss the Fine Arts Museum that has a number of wonderful treasures, and is an easy 5 minute walk from the Inn.
