North Hero House Inn and Resort

Beautiful setting in front of the lake, with bar and good restaurant conveniently on site. Generous and good breakfast. The inn and rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The drive through the island is scenic. Very happy to find this gem!

When we checked in, we were asked to pay a 17 $US resort fee, even though we booked through Booking.com and everything was paid for our one night stay. I am still not clear why we had to pay this fee. Apart from the fact that we did not use any of the resort facilities, there was no mention about this additional fee on the Booking.com

Great place to stay. Clean and quiet.

The hotel was beautiful and clean, but the amenities weren’t as advertised. The walkable sand beach was a small rocky shore with two umbrellas and two lounge chairs. No one showed us to the spa, but the sign pointed to a small room with ‘massage in progress’ sign on it. The restaurant and bar closed at 8pm, and they did not have front room seating available for guests as we did not make a reservation. There are no other options close by, so we assumed we wouldn’t have to. The food was okay, but I wouldn’t want to eat there a second night. Overall, not at all what we expected and we ended up leaving a night early.

Great setting right on the lake with great food choices both in the main hotel and the pier bar.

Very clean and comfortable. Our room was on the 3rd floor, up a steep staircase, but that was fine for us. The hotel was lovely and the property was well-kept. We especially ate at the hotel dining room and at the Pier. The dining room was tasty, but you can't beat a cocktail at water's edge

No EV charger as told at front desk and was shown on a map of the facility. Nearest charging station 26 miles away. Very inconvenient.

The views are stunning, atmosphere very relaxing, staff extremely accommodating.

Very nice rooms. Small beach with nice sandy bottom for swimming. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed our stay.
