Habana Hotel Y Restaurante

Auf der Rückseite vom Hotel fliesst stinkendes Abwasser direkt an der Mauer vom Hotel, wir hatten das Zimmer auf der Rückseite vom Hotel und es hat grässlich gestunken in unserem Zimmer. At the back of the hotel, smelly sewage flows directly along the hotel wall. We had the room at the back of the hotel and it stank horribly in our room.

Very friendly and helpful staff, we asked for breakfast 1h earlier than normal in the hotel and in the morning a beautifully prepared table and breakfast was waiting for us.

I loved the hospitality of the staff and each one of them in the hotel-restaurant. I spoke very little Spanish and yet everyone greeted me with a warm smile to my, "Hola!" Even the fact that human connections don't really need languages but a genuine heart, sometimes, could be exemplified throughout my stay in the hotel and in the Dominican Republic. Thank you to all!

If I could give 10 stars for the staff I would. The front desk agents, the manager, the chef, the waitress were all so nice and went out of their way to make sure I'd get to my next destination properly and that I was safe. The room was really nice, new and clean with everything you need. Breakfast was really good. I loved the mangú. And they give you 2 complimentary water bottles, which I thought was a really nice touch. If you're a light sleeper, the hotel is located right by the highway so it might not be the best option because it's noisy at night. Also, the fact that the security guard had a shotgun at night made me feel unsafe because it gave me the impression that the area wasn't safe. So a suggestion would be not to great guests with the shotgun in hand maybe. That being said, just because all the staff was SO nice, I'd book there again. Thank you so much everyone :)
