I felt very uncomfortable during my stay, especially because of the constant presence of geckos in the room and the noise they made at night. It reached a point where I had to leave the guesthouse earlier than planned. I asked the staff to remove the geckos and seal the holes in the walls. They removed one, but others kept entering the room, and the gaps were never properly sealed. The issue was not resolved. I also asked to change rooms and made it clear that I was open to that solution, but I was told the guesthouse was fully booked. Later, when Booking contacted them regarding my refund request, they claimed that they had offered me another room, which is not true. I requested a refund, and the management told me to handle it with Booking. However, Booking confirmed that this should be resolved directly with the guesthouse. I have been trying for weeks to get a response, but they have simply ignored me. Additionally, common areas such as the kitchen and garden were dirty, which reinforced my concerns about overall hygiene and maintenance. I understand geckos are common in Bali, but throughout the rest of my trip, I stayed in other accommodations and did not experience this issue; no geckos inside the room, no excessive noise, and no concerns about cleanliness. This shows that the problem here is not unavoidable, but rather a matter of maintenance. I chose this accommodation based on its high rating, but based on my experience, I do not understand how that rating is justified.

Very clean , very cheap , nice owners , bars restaurants scooter rental clothes shops all near , bed comfortable, WiFi 10/10. Cleaned everyday .

House keeping perfect

This place truly feels like home. It’s now my go-to accommodation every time I come to Canggu! The staff is incredibly kind and always attentive to every detail. Everything is spotless, beautifully maintained, and the location couldn’t be better close to everything yet still peaceful. The Wi-Fi works perfectly (just like at home!), which made my stay even more comfortable. I couldn’t recommend this place enough thank you for making every stay so special! 💛
