Pickalbatros Villaggio Resort - Portofino Marsa Alam

Il resort è grandissimo e dotato di numerosi servizi. È talmente grande che ci sono a disposizione navette aperte gratuite per raggiungere i vari posti. Tutto tenuto con molta cura. Ci sono molti ristoranti, bar... piscine ad ogni angolo. C'è veramente l'imbarazzo della scelta. WiFi gratuito e veloce in qualunque punto della struttura; dalla camera alle piscine, fino a coprire anche tutta la spiaggia. L'animazione è ottima e ci sono molte attività da fare. Noleggio risciò gratuito. Palestra in ottime condizioni con attrezzi della Technogym. La spiaggia ha molta barriera corallina quindi è possibile fare il bagno anche quando c'è molto vento perché l'acqua è calma e piacevole. Per gli amanti del freediving come me c'è un pontile che ti fa raggiungere il punto più bello della barriera dove puoi fare immersioni o snorkeling per ammirare coralli e pesci di ogni genere. Stupendo il parco acquatico! Ci sono scivoli e giochi sia per i bambini che per gli adulti. Molte piscine sono riscaldate quindi anche nei mesi invernali quando c'è meno caldo puoi stare in acqua tutto il tempo. Anche le docce della spiaggia sono riscaldate. Tutto orientato alla piena soddisfazione del cliente. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

when i saw the 9,7 reviews, i thought it must be bots, but this really is a great stay. the staff is amazing and very attentive, the food is great, the property is well maintained and there are plenty of activities. for us the highlights were the diving center (my son got his padi!), snorkelling off the pier, atv tour (incredible!), padel, afternoon bakery and coffee, great meals and the slides and VR activities for the kids. Special callout to Mostafa Othman that went above and beyond to check on us as well as our cleaner in room 2461. Also a special mention for the fresh croissant and pita bakers -- some of the best ever.

improvements could be made in wifi which was not reliable (i got a saily data plan for 30usd for 10gb and that was fine), the gym is very small given the size of the place and it was quite busy even thought the resort was not full - i think a 3x size would be more fitting (there is literally only one bench), the spa for sure needs an upgrade especially given the prices they are trying to achieve - it just did not seem worth it for what seemed a pretty pedestrian looking place. i might have enjoyed for example a barber or mani/pedi on premises or massages at the beach. Pricing those correctly could be good revenue generating activities for them. The place is ENOURMOUS - you need to plan with a lot of walking - we averaged 15k steps a day. It would have been a better design to make it more compact as it seems a bit wasteful and inefficient. Energy is very cheap in Egypt we found out so i suppose this is why. They do have bikes but they are a bit heavy and it is hilly in places, so not 100% the best even though we are all good bikers in my family. It might be wise to put a very small ebike battery on those to supplement the power- that is a pretty easy and low-cost fix.

Exceptionnel, fabuleux! Cet hotel est une merveille, il est magnifique en tous les points de vue. Je le recommande, c’est une véritable pépite d’or: une vue sur la mer à couper le souffle, la plage, le ponton installé pour aller plus loin dans le snorkling, les piscines, le parc aquatique, les restaurants, la propreté, les animations, les nombreux services proposés, sans oublier tour le personnel aux petits soins pour nous faire passer des vacances inoubliables. Un grand merci en particulier à Mostafa â la réception qui a été plus que parfait tout au long de notre séjour et à Yacine Abdo à la station des vélos pour son sourire et sa bonne humeur inoubliable. C’est icii que nous reviendrons si nous voyageons de nouveau a Marsa Alam. Impossible d’être déçu, tout est grandiose et magique!

This was the perfect getaway for me and my two kids, ages 5 and 11. We are an international family living in Cairo, and the resort was easy to get to, and perfect in every way. My kids loved it, and could not get enough of the beach, the bikes, the snorkeling, the water parks, and the restaurants. They were in heaven. This made my trip a joy, too, and it was my best time with them in memory. I look forward to coming back soon and often. Special thanks to Mustafa and Alex! Awesome leadership team at the hotel.

Mi è piaciuto TUTTO! Per quanto riguarda i pasti c'è una scelta molto vasta tale da non essere riusciti a provare tutti i vari ristoranti. Il migliore in assoluto è stato il TABLIA. Porzioni super esagerate e buonissime! Ogni giorno Mustafa ci inviava il programma del giorno e ci supportava in ogni nostra richiesta
