Lots of steps to get to our room

Super large bedroom with excellent bedding and pillows from "My Pillow". The bathroom was also very spacious with an oversized cast iron tub and an oversized shower. The service was wonderful and the hot breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend it!

They had a temporary issue with the thermostat in the room that was remedied.

Stayed at the Inn for the first time for a 34th anniversary. It was wonderful and Stephanie was very accommodating. Made a last minute dinner reservation for us which was very good. The room was very spacious and the bathroom large. Very quiet with a nice breakfast in the am. Definitely would recommend!

Super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, love the charm of the common areas and also the rooms.

Our bed wasn’t super comfortable and the pillows were lumpy- perhaps it’s time to replace those in the particular room we had this time. We have stayed here before in other rooms and the bedding was very comfy.

My wife and I traveled to Winston Salem to visit family. We stayed at the Summit Street Inn as it was close by our son and walkable to restaurants , coffee shops, bars and other nightlife and activity. West End is a great little eclectic neighborhood with a lot of character and beautiful old houses. The Summit Street Inns two houses are fully restored with a pretty brick courtyard and garden in between the two houses. The pre check in contact was via text but personalized and our hostess met us at the door upon check. We stayed in The Alspaugh room which was beautiful with a huge master bathroom which was tastefully decorated, comfortable king bed and views. Breakfast was sumptuous with a generous buffet of bacon, eggs, grits, fruits yogurts , pastries , juices and hot and cold beverages. I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quality experience when away from home.

Hot water of the shower is slow.

The combination of deep history with quirky/unique decorations everywhere gives you more to see the more you look ! The rooms are quiet, well-appointed.... and each one is different. Stephanie, my host, was very friendly and attentive with lots of good ideas of places to visit and made the stay especially charming. The full breakfast is amazing... different each day... and a glass of wine each evening. Great location for walking to nearby restaurants and downtown.... and a quick drive to Wake Forest. Very reasonably priced and highly recommend staying here.

The Summit Street Inns are full of Charm old world wonder. The attention to detail was fantastic! There’s a beautiful courtyard and the grounds are lovely! A true gem!
