"An absolute must!"

What a delight to stay in a historical inn. Filled with antiques and lovely hidden nooks and crannies. Breakfast was amazing, and the Innkeeper was very knowledgeable and helpful with finding local places to discover.

"Elegance and comfort"

They have done a spectacular job of restoration of this historic home. Everything about it exudes elegance and comfort. Also, I was offered a glass of wine at check-in, and the staff were very nice. I loved this B&B!

"Just stay here!"

Summit Street Inn is one of those places sprinkled with magic and pixie dust. What I mean by that is how the experience has been curated for guests. From the amazing gardens, lovely outdoor spaces, yummy breakfast, unique rooms and beautifully appointed spaces that blend the old with the new, it feels like something familiar. Yet, it also feels like something we all aspire to that’s just out of reach. Summit Street Inn blends luxury without all the pretense and we can’t wait to go back!!!! Everything was wonderful, from the pillows and beds, roasted pretzels, beautiful rooms and house decor to claw foot bath tubs, breakfast and afternoon wine. Staff was nice not very talkative (maybe they are advised to just do their job, which they did beautifully)but they were pleasant. Would stay again and will recommend to our friends.

The inn was very nice and comfortable. Room and inn were very clean. Nice courtyard and garden area. Restaurants and bars within a block of the inn. Enjoyed Jefferson, the outside resident cat. Breakfast was very good as well. The staff was very accommodating. Would stay here again on our next visit to Winston-Salem

The porch furniture needs to be updated. Our room looked out on the courtyard, the drawback was the lights on all night made for a lot of light entering the room around the drapes. Could use better lighting to read in bed. The room lighting was very good, but you had to get out of bed to turn those off

Loved this property. Easy free parking on the street or behind the properties. Old world charm with upgraded features. Good breakfast. Ask for the free beer or wine in the evening. We will stay here again.
