Lots to love here, Tucked into a historic area, it was a quiet respite and a beautiful venue. Two Victorian blgs connected by a manicured garden with plenty of places to refresh, relax, respite however you choose. The rooms are unique and well-designed with spacious bathrooms and comfy beds. Each room has its own personality but the property itself is very cohesive. Staff is welcoming and helpful, directions and communication is clear and the rate was a great value. Breakfast was delicious. Tuxedo kitty “Thomas Jefferson” serves as an outdoor greeter & just added to the homey feeling of an old-school upscale B&B. Definitely coming back!!

I’m sure there is nothing to complain about that couldn’t be rectified by the helpful staff.

I recently stayed at this charming bed and breakfast, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The room was clean, cozy, and wonderful, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Mary Evelyn, the host, was truly amazing—so kind, helpful, and welcoming. Her hospitality made the stay even more memorable. The entire property felt like stepping into a museum, with beautiful details and a unique, historic ambiance. One of the highlights was their adorable cat, Jefferson, who was such a cutie and added a touch of warmth to the experience. I 100% recommend this bed and breakfast for couples looking for a peaceful weekend getaway. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and hospitality!

"Excellent base to explore Winston-Salem"

My wife and I have stayed in several hotels during our visit to North Carolina. Summit Street Inns was probably our favourite location as a place to stay. Friendly staff, great rooms in houses with character and an excellent breakfast. Happy to highly recommend to others and we would love to be able to return sometime.

Everything was perfect. The Inn keeper. Evelyn took care of us like family. Loved the charm of the place! It transported us to another time. Of course it is an old house, but so elegantly put together!
