"Stay Here and Be Happy"

Members of our church choir from Virginia had the joy of staying here when we sang as a combined choir with St Paul's Episcopal Church. Hosts Stephanie and Mary Evelyn gave us a warm Southern welcome. Hospitality, comfort, convenience. What a fine inn for the traveler.

"Tranquil, Calm and Friendly"

The Summit Street Inn is a fantastic place to stay. It’s located on a fairly quiet street right on the edge of downtown -- close enough to walk to great restaurants and shops, yet peaceful enough to truly relax. From the outside, the inn has a charming, historic feel, and inside it’s impeccably clean and wonderfully quiet. Check-in and parking were both effortless, and our room was even ready a little early upon request. I especially appreciated the free glass of wine, which was the perfect welcome after a long trip. We stayed in the Reynold’s Loft, an ideal choice for us since we value quiet above all else and don’t mind stairs. The HVAC was whisper-quiet, there were no strange buzzing noises, and street noise was minimal. Best of all, we didn’t hear a single other guest during our stay—being on the top floor definitely helped. Overall, this inn strikes a rare balance between charm, comfort, and tranquility. Highly recommended.

We had a great time. Near really nice restaurants (and they were good as well). The staff was really friendly and the other guests were fun to talk to. Loved our evening glass of wine.

"College campus visit"

Wonderful stay! Great location, extremely attentive and friendly staff, great accommodations, nicely appointed rooms, delicious breakfast. Easy 5-10 minute drive to Wake Forest campus. Great walking neighborhood with wonderful restaurants one block away. Very reasonably priced and highly recommend staying here.
