Real budget hotel

Facilities in the room, shower in the bathroom wouldn't mix hot and cold water, 4 visits made by various people but not fixed. Power sockets and bathroom shower need to be upgraded.

Le bruit. La cour intérieure résonne beaucoup. La piscine n'est pas chauffée. Il n'y a pas de salle de fitness. Tous les extras sont hors de prix. C'est vraiment trop trop cher. Je vous déconseille fortement de réserver une excursion avec l'hôtel. Il vaut mieux appeler un taxi à la sortie de l'hôtel. Les taxis s'arrêtent facilement. Il est difficile de sortir à pied de l'hôtel. Il est dangereux de traverser la route. Les habitants du Caire roulent dangereusement.

Buffets at breakfast and dinner are ok, but not more than that. Some nights however it's à la carte and that's TOTAL CHAOS, with staff quarreling among them all the time, nothing happening, no management, what would life be wonderful without customers. Desserts served first and starters never coming: to be avoided ! The management under Mr Mohamed at breakfast however is really ok and he's very attentive all runs well. His evening counterpart tries to excuse with a free dessert, appreciated and kind but that's NOT how you run an à la carte restaurant properly...

Poolview an 'upgrade: no because you have an acoustic soundbox making hefty noise from 0500 till 2400h. Other views: yes, the slums around. Why can't the breakfast crew work silently ? Bathrooms are becoming a desaster: they're only just fresh anymore, but taps are serving anything between 15 and 65°C and that in following shockwaves. Roomstaff do what they can, but with limited means. This hotel needs a thorough renovation, ongoing already on floors 6&7, until then: don't go there !

Friendly staff

Lots 9f construction on street due to subway construction. Not much we could do or see around the hotel.

Staff are helpful and nice

You can hear people sitting by the pool talking when you are on the second floor, annoying until 3 am!
