The Lodges at Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate

WE ARRIVED ON VERY WET TUESDAY AFTERNOON AT THE VERY PICTURESQUE GLENLOE ABBEY.THE STAFF WERE SO WELCOMING FROM THE DOOR MAN TO THE HOUSEKEEPING ALL SMILING SAYING HELLO , MAKING SURE WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED TO MAKE OUR STAY AS PLEASANT AS POSSIBLE. DINNER IN THE PALLERS BAR WAS EXCELLENT I HAD THE BEST CHICKEN CEASER SALAD EVER. THE STAFF WERE VERY ATTENTIVE. BREAKFAST THE NEXT MORNING IN THE RIVER ROOM WAS VERY NICE. THAT NIGHT WE HAD DINNER IN THE PULLMAN CARRIGE IT WAS THE SOLE REASON WE WENT TO THE ABBEYAND LET ME SAY IT WAS AN EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME FROM THE TIME WE ENTERED TILL WE LEFT 4 HOURS LATER. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS AMAZING AND AS THE EVENING PROGRESSED THE LIGHTS CAME ON AND EVERYTHING CHANGED PEOPLE WERE CHATTING LAUGHING. WE HAD THE SUPERIOR WINE TASTING WITH OUR MEAL. IAN THE HEAD WAITER ,A FELLOW DUBLIN MAN , WAS SO KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE WINE PAIRINGS WHICH COMPLEMENTED THE AMAZING FOOD COOKED BY A HUSBAND AND WIFE TEAM WHO TOOK THE TIME TO COME TO OUR TABLE TO CHAT. DANNY AND THE REST OF THE TEAMTRULY GAVE US AN EXPERIENCE WE WILL NEVER FORGET. THANK YOU. IF YOU ARE FOODIE PEOPLE 😋 LIKE US, YOU NEED TO VISIT THE PULLMAN EXPERIENCE AT GLENLOE ABBEY. MITCHELAN,IF YOU ARE LISTENING THIS WHOLE TEAM DESERVE A STAR . WE ARE PLANNING OUR TRIP BACK NEXT YEAR, CAN'T WAIT 😊

We had a great dinner meal with friends and the staff was great. Especially our server Doroti. She was so cheerful and fun. The food and drinks were also great.

We had dinner at Palmers at Glenlo Abbey. Doroti was amazing and provided excellent Irish hospitality. She made such a welcoming environment and we didn’t want to leave! Great experience!

We are a group of 3 couples and had an amazing time at Palmers. We started outside, which has a fantastic view, and then moved inside for dinner. Doroti was our server and took such great care of us. She anticipated our every want, gave great suggestions, and made us laugh. The food was also fantastic and everyone enjoyed their meal. Perfect place to end your day. Thank you Doroti and team!!

We had the most wonderful experience in the Glenloe for a wedding. Everything was exceptional - the staff, the food, the setup etc A special shout out to Rahd (I hope I spelled that correctly) who managed the arrivals reception and it was amazing. Thank you so much

Great facility in an AWESOME setting. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It was truly a joy to spend our three days there. The dining rooms were great and the waite staff was exceptional

Glenlo Abbey is old world charm and excellence wrapped in great service. I particularly was impressed with the cocktail barmn Erdal. I will come back to Glenlo in the future.

Absolutely amazing stay! The staff at the hotel are all amazing people. Everyone is super friendly and truly do their best to make your stay wonderful. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel. Although everyone was wonderful I feel the need to call out the supervisor in the dining room, I believe his name is Tymur. Tymur was amazing, he went above and beyond to give us the best experience at the afternoon tea. He was so polite and friendly and just a real class act. We enjoyed talking to him and he ensures all of his guests are well taken care of. We dined in the Pullman and enjoyed the tasting menu, what an experience! The food was so creative and amazing. The staff in the Pullman were beyond amazing! Truly loved our experience. We truly wish everyone the best and would recommend this hotel to everyone. :) I do not have the words to describe how much we loved the staff and hotel.

Beautiful elegant atmosphere, staff was prefect in every way! The food was memorable with amazing taste and texture, looked like it came out of a gourmet magazine.

Doroti was our bartender at Palmer’s at Glenlo Abbey. She put our whole experience over the top. She was attentive, intuitive to what we would like and entertaining. Thank you Doroti, and Glenlo Abbey staff.
