Secrets Tides Punta Cana All Inclusive - Adults Only

We stayed at this gem of a property for 2 weeks and WOW! The whole place including the beach is immaculate. The staff are amazing even though we had a small issue with the food we politely brought it to their attention and this person from management listened, communicated with us and dealt with our issue and fixed it within a day. A BIG thankyou to Isabelli and the rest of the team! You went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! So if you do have an issue with the food please approach the staff politely and speak to them respectfully. They are here for us! The food and is very diverse with alot of choices including the national dishes. I actually put on 6lbs 🫣! The ladies at the coffee shop are just the funniest and the best 👌 This is not the hotels responsibility but I did mention it that the cruel and explotation of the beach animals (monkeys, lizards and parrotts) to have photos for financial gains is really bad so please think about thus before you have photos with these poor creatures. I've read a few negative reviews and I can honestly say apart from a small issue which was resolved we had an amazing time and would seriously return in 2027. Thankyou so much for an "excellente" team effort. You all did yourselves very proud. Hasta la vista.

Came for a short Monday-Friday trip with my husband over Christmas. The one major thing that stood out to us were the workers and how clean the resort was. Stayed preferred and our butler was Yulian. Very helpful and made sure we got a reservation at the Hibachi the day after Christmas! He checked in with us everyday and was very nice. The first worker we met by the pool was Alexis. He is the best!! met him where you get towels and he took care of us all week! Wonderful personality and so kind. We will miss him! We also met Yuni (I know I butchered the spelling of his name- I’m sorry) but he’s in the photo at the sports bar. Such a wonderful bartender and he was so fun to chat with! Very alert and attentive to everyone around him. We met Francisco at the sports bar as well. What a guy! Sweetest guy ever and has a wonderful sense of humor. Works his tail off- that’s for sure! Last but not least, John deserves a shout out! Watched him play baseball with guests on the resort and he killed it! Unfortunately a guest gave him a hard time during the game, but he handled it very professionally and did nothing that caused an issue. Hats off to him! Overall, the staff made us feel at home here. We met so many kind, wonderful people from all over the world which was so neat! We are very happy with our stay and we wish we could’ve stayed longer :)

We just returned from a week. Here is our quick review. We were preferred but in a normal room. Overall it was a great experience. The resort is beautiful, the beach is amazing and overall the service is very good. We had many great staff - Jeffre, Nicholas, Franci, Alexis and many more. Food was good but not mind-blowing. For an all inclusive is was what you would expect. We had a great experience with Punta Cana Surf Adventures. Venders were present but not overly aggressive. Our really only negative would be our butler was not very helpful and really didn't help us at all. It was as if he didn't listen and made promises he could not fulfill. Everything was a yes answer with no follow through. I like the preferred clubs and upgraded alcohol choices so for me it was worth it. We did negotiate the price down.

Our room was robbed and security is covering for staff. BEWARE. Police report has been filed. They can not be trusted. Bunch of thieves.

We enjoyed a week with our family - fun in the sun. The staff at the preferred pool were especially great - Francisco, Michael and Jorge. Easy to get into restaurants, seated for breakfast, the gym was nice. Look forward to our next visit.

Very well maintained and clean resort. We go on an annual trip and Tides is near the top of our list! Highly recommended if you want a relaxing vacation with friendly staff and clean facilities.

Our stay at Secrets Tides was absolutely amazing and very close to a 5* experience. The only area that fell short was the food. While there was a good variety at both the buffet and the restaurants, the meals were consistently served lukewarm rather than hot, which was disappointing for a resort of this caliber. The temperature made a noticeable difference in the overall dining experience. That said, everything else about this resort truly was 5*. If the food temperature issue was addressed, this would easily be a perfect resort.

This trip made our annual family vacation one of the best ever. From Teddy in activities (love him!!) to the gentlemen who did the wine tasting, this place was perfection. The restaurants were lovely, the spa was fantastic, the breakfast spread is amaaaazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a great time, resort was top notch, food was good. Had no issues, would recommend to anyone. Ezy was our butler and was top notch, Ezy went over and above all my expectations. Yessica did a most wonderful job at Manatees bar, Desirae was stellar at the sugar reef bar and Micheal did an outstanding job at preferred pool bar. Entertainment was great, Queen and Dominican night were my faves. Weather was perfect and virtually no seaweed at the beach. We always stay as preferred but was not needed. Enjoy

The security guard said "welcome home" when I arrived and a more accurate saying would have been welcome to the shake down inn. From check in through check out I was told that the items I had booked and prepaid for months in advance were not available and that if I wanted a nice room, access to the nice pool, a seat on an unbroken chair or good food I had to pay them more money. The upgraded room I paid for turned into a room next to an elevator and the noise went on all night. Then the music started and I was told that I could not move to another room until my vacation was half over. The initial lunch was cold and the beverages were warm and dinner was a low grade of non nutritious protein and cheap carbs. There was an extra charge for everything. The reviews I read must have been written by bots, people who haven't been to nice hotels or people who drank a lot of their cheap alcohol.
